The Mason Contractors Association of America is the national trade association representing masonry contractors and suppliers. Since 1950, the MCAA has educated, trained, and represented the mason contractor. The MCAA promotes the use of masonry, recruits and assists in training of the industry’s workforce, impacts federal legislative and standard issues affecting contractors, and provides educational programs for the key employees of member firms.
International Council of Employers of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers
ICE is the only wholly union international masonry contractors’ association, representing approximately 3,000 signatory contractors who perform, brick, block, stone, tile, marble, terrazzo, cement masonry, plastering and restoration work. Its members employ the highest skilled and best trained workers in the masonry industry. ICE works with the Bricklayers International Union to provide those workers with the best training available, safe job sites, pensions and healthcare.
International Masonry Institute
The International Masonry Institute (IMI) is a strategic alliance between the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers and the contractors who employ those members. Through education, technical support, research and training the IMI works to provide a more efficient construction delivery system.

Created by The Construction Labor Management Council of Southeast Wisconsin, Building Advantage actively promotes the benefits of hiring union construction contractors and trades people. Their organization is comprised of nearly 20,000 trades people, 600 contractors and six management associations throughout Wisconsin. Building Advantage’s mission is to build stronger communities through a stronger construction industry workforce.
